Hello!
We have planned an 8 x 4 meter (26 x 13 feet) liner pool with a skimmer (no saltwater). Today, our pool builder presented us with two offers: one with plastic accessories (skimmer, lights, inlets and outlets, etc.) and one with stainless steel accessories. If money were no object, we would choose the latter, but that’s not the case. Stainless steel parts cost about 50% more than plastic. My question is: What did you decide on and why?
Best regards

The accessories have actually been in use for a few decades now. The chlorine doesn’t seem to have affected the plastic. And if your items only last “just” 15 years, you can still replace them if needed. But I don’t think it will necessarily be required.
