Hello,
I want to install stainless steel water pipes in the new build.
We have hard water, pH value 7.67.
What are the disadvantages of stainless steel apart from the cost, the more complex installation, and possible nickel content?
Best regards, Peter

Strange that you ask about the disadvantages and don’t seem interested in the advantages.I’m already well aware of the advantages. That’s why I want to use them. I just want to make sure I haven’t overlooked any significant disadvantages for me.
Mapress, or Ode, Sunpress, and similar systems are state-of-the-art. The advantage of stainless steel is that it is highly resistant to corrosion. Both plastic and stainless steel serve their purpose equally well. One person drives a car with four rings, another one with a star. Stainless steel is very high-quality and durable. The price will also be a deciding factor.

From what I understand, it can be installed almost as flexibly as plastic composite pipes, right? Has anyone had experience with this system?
