Hello everyone,

I recently watched a YouTube video from Smartest Home about the new funding program for smart home integration in new constructions (also existing buildings). Has anyone dealt with this before? I find the topic of funding somewhat difficult to understand. Apparently, you can claim up to €50,000. I would like to have a KNX system installed in my single-family house, which is not built yet, but so far I haven't allocated much budget for KNX. How can I solve this problem?

Best regards,
Stefan

Interesting. My energy consultant said he would estimate 20 for the system and 30 for additional costs.

Have you checked the information sheet?
It basically only lists modifications/adjustments that could be possible in an existing building.

Our notification has arrived. Unfortunately, it only briefly states that the maximum subsidy is limited based on my information, and the rest has not been reviewed. The decision on what is considered eligible for funding will only be made after the invoices are submitted. This process took nearly three months.

I wanted to treat myself to a nice visualization, but I didn’t want to buy it without the subsidy. Not to mention the waiting time until the money is actually disbursed.

Well, it’s clear you expected more. Honestly, in the application, we only included the amount for the heat pump (including model, heating load, etc.) and the “additional costs.” I do expect the final decision with the invoice, and there is no reason why it shouldn’t be approved. The regulations at this stage are quite clear and fairly flexible, so a lot should be covered.

Why expect more? More output from the processing time, yes. They could have also automated sending the current letter on the same day the application was submitted. It only contains the data from the online application that I entered myself.

How long did you have to wait for the “notification”? I’m waiting every day now for some feedback...
