Hello everyone,

I recently watched a YouTube video from Smartest Home about the new funding program for smart home integration in new constructions (also existing buildings). Has anyone dealt with this before? I find the topic of funding somewhat difficult to understand. Apparently, you can claim up to €50,000. I would like to have a KNX system installed in my single-family house, which is not built yet, but so far I haven't allocated much budget for KNX. How can I solve this problem?

Best regards,
Stefan

In addition, anything can be connected to KNX...

I don’t understand why so many builders choose KNX. It’s far too expensive and simply not very smart if integrating the air source heat pump or other systems isn’t possible.

Well, then you probably still have a lot to catch up on if basic issues like that are a problem.

A motion detector that can tell whether someone is asleep or not hasn’t been invented yet, I think.

The issue is detecting presence even when the person is asleep, not determining whether a person is asleep or awake.

It also works without sounds when using the appropriate detectors... but that is not the topic of this thread.

But there is one that responds to movement and sounds.

One? Several. Sensors with sound detection, motion via IR or RF, presence detection even without movement... all no problem with KNX.

Feel free to send a PM for more on the system topic.

Why don’t you write it publicly? Your name somehow suggests that you want to sell something "different" 😉

As others have already said, in all the time I’ve been working with KNX, I’ve never come across anything that couldn’t be integrated in some way (assuming the interface is available).

I just don’t want to start a fundamental debate. Everyone should decide for themselves

Come on, just say it! Making claims and then backing off isn’t very classy. What do you prefer? After all, this is a “Smart Home” thread, not a KNX thread.
