Hello everyone,
I recently watched a YouTube video from Smartest Home about the new funding program for smart home integration in new constructions (also existing buildings). Has anyone dealt with this before? I find the topic of funding somewhat difficult to understand. Apparently, you can claim up to €50,000. I would like to have a KNX system installed in my single-family house, which is not built yet, but so far I haven't allocated much budget for KNX. How can I solve this problem?
Best regards,
Stefan

Heat pump, drilling, KNXDo you have a detailed cost breakdown that you can share with us? What exactly did you include regarding KNX?
Of course I have them. I had an electrician provide me with a quote and added up all the items related to the heating system itself, the installation, and the KNX components that can affect the control of the heating. Naturally, this also includes the necessary cables and their installation.
It starts with the switch box for the power connection of the heat pump, including chasing and drilling of boxes, goes through the additional distribution cabinet and the blind actuators, and extends up to the visualization system.

Not at all, the funding amount cannot be increased afterward.
There might be a very slight chance if the appeal period has not yet expired. So the same process as with the tax return. But I cannot say if that is possible there as well. Why? The measures haven’t started yet, or do they have to be applied for together?
There was something else:
IMPORTANT! After notification of the approved funding within the grant award notice, an increase may only be possible if an objection is filed within one month of receipt and additional installation costs are claimed. Otherwise, an increase in funding is no longer possible even after completion of the project.
