Hello

We are looking for a sliding door for the wardrobe in our hallway.

The niche width in our hallway is 110cm (43 inches).

We need a two-part door.

For example, a fixed panel on the left and a sliding door on the right, each part 55cm (22 inches) wide.

Can anyone tell me where we can buy something like this?

We also need the door in RAL 9006.

Thank you very much for your help

And yet another thread without any basic information, such as a floor plan sketch or clarification on whether it should be full room height or just door opening height.

In general... contact the nearest carpenter.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the doors should be full height, about 2.50m (8 ft 2 in).

We have a recess in the hallway between the guest toilet and the wall next to the staircase, which should then be covered by the sliding door.

At the door supplier you trust, you can also find sliding doors.

How deep is the niche? I imagine it would be impractical to have an opening only 50cm (20 inches) wide with a fixed panel about 50cm (20 inches) wide. Depending on what is supposed to be stored behind it, it would be difficult to access the items behind the fixed panel.

We had something similar in our townhouse. We built a barn door ourselves, double-leaf and swinging. It was very practical and looked good. I would do it the same way again.
If a sliding door is the only option for you, I would definitely make it sliding on both sides.
This can also be a DIY project. Components are available at hardware stores. If you don’t feel confident doing it yourself, you could hire a carpenter. However, that won’t be cheap.
