Two months ago, we had the Boholmen sink connected to the Atlant siphon by a plumber. Today, while using the sink, we suddenly heard splashing sounds coming from the cabinet underneath, and as it turns out, the siphon is hanging loosely and the water is leaking in all directions.
Now we are wondering how the siphon was ever secured to the sink. There is no visible mounting option. The screw in the drain is not actually a screw but a smooth metal rod without threads. Question: How can we secure the siphon again?
Thanks in advance!

Schwedenurlauber2 Nov 2014 13:10After a thorough troubleshooting, we found that there was indeed a thread at one point. Unfortunately, it broke off and got stuck in the corresponding guide within the siphon. The plumber did not consider installing a support fastening for the entire siphon, so the whole siphon with hoses was held in place by only one screw. Naturally, this cannot work in the long run.
