Hello,
we are currently renovating a house and are in the process of having the parquet flooring installed.
Previously, the parquet was installed as a floating floor over underfloor heating, with cork and a vapor barrier underneath.
Now, it will be glued directly onto the screed, as this is supposed to be better for underfloor heating.

But what about the impact sound insulation in that case?

Thank you very much for your answers.

The adhesive serves as the impact sound insulation – including the impact sound insulation built into the screed insulation.

Glued parquet cannot be compared at all with floating floor coverings.

Is the impact sound insulation not installed under the screed?

Yes, normally – but for floating floor coverings, an underlay with impact sound insulation is also required underneath.

So, does that mean no additional impact sound insulation is installed under glued parquet?
I read that a few times online...

Only cork should be avoided with underfloor heating, as cork also acts as a thermal insulator.
