The previous owner finished this space (for example, I wouldn’t have chosen those plastic panels and the randomly placed LEDs on each one give me eye strain, and I try not to think about what’s behind them… unfortunately, nothing is done well here), but overall I’m quite glad about it. A guest room (with a 180cm (71 inch) box spring bed) wouldn’t have fit anywhere else, and right now it even serves as an office (I didn’t have a furnished photo). Additionally, the storage space is great since there’s no dry basement... You do have to maneuver carefully around the staircase though.

Now I also understand why the heavy-duty shelves you have are so much cheaper compared to Ivar. I always had those priced at 69.99 € in mind. I got those for the garage extension—they can hold quite a bit.

Yes, you really need to buy it in action. I think Kaufland also has some available, but I’m not sure if that’s just at the one near me...
Funny thing is, they have two types that look exactly the same and have the same technical specifications, but they are priced differently (24.99 / 29.99).

We also solved it with Ivar—the lower version. Our roof pitch is 26 degrees. Behind the shelves we store, for example, long strips of wood, rolled-up carpets, skis—everything you hardly need.

Great, @Steffi33 Are the large boxes with the black handles... self-built? On casters? I really like those.

The large boxes are also from Ikea. They are on casters. When they were once on clearance for half price, I took the opportunity to buy them. That must have been about 20 years ago.. ;-)
