ᐅ Second small sink on the kitchen island

Hello everyone,

Since our house is taking a while, I’m spending some time thinking about my kitchen again.
It’s actually already fully planned, but I have fallen for the idea of adding a small second sink on the cooking island.
Does anyone have this and would like to share pictures and experiences?

Show us your kitchen layout. The experience really depends on the available space. I have my only sink on the island, with everything within easy reach. There’s no room for a second sink, but also no need for one. For others, it’s different. And for others, it’s different again. Some even have a high-tech boiling water tap that does it all. That’s a whole other situation.

What exactly is taking its time? The sink on the island also needs a water connection.

We are building a prefabricated house and have already attended the selection appointment, but we are still far from the detailed factory planning stage. The installation date was only roughly given as summer. Things are moving more slowly than expected, but oh well...
I can still easily make changes to the connections at this point.

Why not show the design you have in mind for your kitchen? That way, it will be easier to give advice regarding the additional sink.

The idea of having a second sink is new, and I would simply like to see pictures, hear about experiences, or something similar.
I probably don’t really need it, but it could be a nice extra to have...
