Hello everyone,

we are currently planning our new build and are now looking for a manufacturer who offers interior doors and flooring, for example laminate, that match each other, meaning the same color. Ideally, it should be a dark wood tone. The search seems impossible.

Perhaps someone knows such a manufacturer?

No, because this is usually only done by the carpenter who makes custom doors for you.
It’s also a very unusual idea. I imagine it would look very uniform/monotonous. If you choose wood instead of plastic, for example, it’s impossible to achieve this, since wood will change its color over time – the painted door won’t, and the wooden door may age differently than the flooring.

I also think: if there is no market, there must be reasons for it.

... I see you on a train heading to nowhere. I don’t know of any manufacturer of new doors and flooring that offers both. Something like Meister Portas for both, and new at that, would at least have escaped my notice. And I suspect (see above) that to avoid an overdose of the same décor, nobody else requests this either. In such cases—where there is a “fear” of unwanted contrasts but only insufficiently similar shades—I usually recommend the classic approach of deliberately choosing a noticeable difference. It doesn’t have to be a complete opposite, but perhaps a clearly intentional whole octave of difference.

That sounds difficult. In my opinion, use the natural tones of the wood, which include light, medium, and dark shades—such as natural oak, natural beech, and so on. Although the surface may appear more varied, it blends better with other wood tones.

There are also dark interior doors. Whether the design matches exactly with the laminate flooring is uncertain, but something similar is definitely available.
