thomas83Hello,
I bought a Pax wardrobe on eBay. For the smaller section (50cm (20 inches)), I now want to move the door opening to the other side.
Removing the hinges works without any problem, but the screws are fixed in a kind of dowel, which I don’t have for the other side. Removing the old dowels is almost impossible, as they usually tear apart.
Does anyone have any ideas? Any tips?
Thanks and best regards,
thomas83

you probably mean those small white "caps" that the screws fit into. Once installed, you won’t be able to remove them without damage. There’s only one option: go to your Ikea and get new panels either from the spare parts vending machine or the customer service. Those will already have the screws with the white caps attached.
