Hello

Can anyone give me an approximate cost to renovate an old bathroom in a vintage building (built in 1965)?

The old bathroom would need to be removed and a new one installed.

We would like a walk-in shower and a whirlpool bathtub. Tiled up to the ceiling. The budget should be for mid-range quality (not a cheap bathroom, but not top of the line either).

We are considering buying an old house, but quite a bit of work would be needed (including a new bathroom).

Now we want to roughly estimate the costs. Everything would be done by professional contractors.

Best regards

My parents paid about 10,000 to 15,000 euros – without a whirlpool bathtub, but including a new wall between the shower and the washbasin. The room is around 9 m² (97 ft²) in size.

They didn't give me the exact prices.

Oh yes, the bathroom is 8m² (86 square feet) in size. Almost forgot. 😉
