Hello everyone,
which protection classes do you recommend for ground floor apartment patio doors and windows, and what should be considered here? What costs and prices can be expected for patio doors and windows depending on their class and size?
Many thanks!

In my opinion, a sliding door is not always practical; it depends on the width of the door. With a width of 2m (6 ft 7 in), the passage becomes narrower if you need to carry large furniture or similar items through the door. A regular door almost offers the full 2m (6 ft 7 in) width. The additional costs are also significant. Of course, it also depends on the type of sliding door. A parallel sliding-tilt door is less expensive than a lift-and-slide door. If there is a table near the door that could cause space issues with a regular door, a sliding door could be an option. However, this varies on a case-by-case basis.
