Hello everyone,

After careful consideration, we have decided to build a house using the "Lego" principle. Unfortunately, we have found very few suppliers online (actually only one) that also offer some level of support. It is important to us to always have a contact person available and to have someone present during the wall casting process. So far, we have only been able to find the company Argisol for this.

Do you know of any companies in the northern German region that offer this building method?

When I look at websites like VariantHaus or similar, it seems they only provide the materials, and the builder is then left completely on their own.

Hello Red-ed,
why did you choose Izodom and what would you do differently?

Hello Sven,
how expensive is a house from Euromac2 really?
Argisol provides a price example: 36,000 € (36,000 euros) for the shell kit and about 200,000 € (200,000 euros) for a turnkey home (plus examples ranging from 300,000 € to 600,000 €), in addition to land, notary fees, surveying, earthworks, and other additional costs.
Do I really have to expect such a price?
If so, that’s not an option at all ops:.

What size of house would you like for that price, and do you already have the plot of land (paid for or excluding the expected price)?

Hi Pampa...
I’m not quite sure what to write to you!!! I believe there are also kits available from euromac2. I have a house designed by an architect, so I’m not familiar with the kits. Argisol was at least about 30% more expensive when I checked.
The final cost of your house depends on your preferences, which you haven’t mentioned. Size, quality level, etc.
It’s best to request quotes from the companies for your building project.
Best regards, Sven

One thing you should be clear about:
A house made of styrofoam formwork blocks is not cheap or a bargain. The components and system are thoughtfully designed, certified, and coordinated. In my opinion, the advantage is that you can do a lot of the work yourself quite easily.

Hello,
thank you!
The house should be about 110-120 m2 (1,184-1,292 sq ft) with basic standard, a pitched roof, so everything as affordable as possible.
The only luxury: underfloor heating.
Best regards
