Hi,

I relocated the electrical connection on the ceiling. For this, I chased a cable groove. Now I have the big problem of finding the right plaster to make sure the groove is no longer visible afterwards.

What kind of plaster is this? I didn’t find a suitable one at the hardware store. Everyone is puzzled?!

Thank you very much!

I would say that this is woodchip wallpaper and not plaster 🙂

Sorry, it looks different in the second picture now.
I can’t really help you with that either... with textured wallpaper you could have patched it... 😉

Definitely no wallpaper. If I break off those small "blobs" that make up the texture, they are made of gypsum or something similar. Could it be spray plaster?

That is most likely just regular gypsum plaster for repair work. You can find this at any hardware store, and it is generally well suited for patching small areas.
