Hello

I need to install two surface-mounted distribution boxes outdoors. With their light gray finish on a brown brick wall, they don’t look very good. That’s why I want to paint them—preferably brown with green patterns, like a good soldier. It’s there, but you don’t really notice it.

On the back of the boxes, it says: PS-FR PC-GF-15 inside a circle. An arrow in the circle points to the letters PS.

Is there anyone who can advise me on which paint I can use to make the boxes weatherproof and durable? I’m afraid normal paint won’t last long.

The abbreviation stands for flame-retardant polystyrene polycarbonate with 15% glass fiber. It should be made of PS (polystyrene), if the arrow can be trusted. There will be colors available for it. Search for it online, you should be able to find some information!
