Hello,
For my garden area, I would like to install outdoor lights that brightly illuminate the trees upwards, etc. To avoid wiring my entire property—I don’t want to damage the lawn—I am looking for lights that operate independently from the house’s power sources. Is there perhaps a way to charge a battery using a solar panel, which would then power the light? I assume the light beam would probably be quite weak in that case. Are there other ideas or concepts in this direction...?
Best regards

@ajesse: Thanks for the tips... I will start researching the topic right away... and then hope it all makes sense to me! I’m not looking for designer lamps anyway 😀

I took a closer look at your posts. Of course, there’s a big difference between using solar lighting to illuminate your trees and using motion sensors with LED lights just to make the path barely visible 🙂 No offense intended. And putting LED string lights in the trees definitely gives off a Christmas vibe. Honestly, I’m a bit puzzled—maybe I should just get a conventional but stylish garden lamp from Flos or Artemide after all. 😱
Or maybe a proper halogen floodlight.

Dachdecker37-116 Aug 2011 12:32We always use small lights with solar panels on top at the campsite. They charge very well and provide more than enough light at night. Highly recommended!
