ᐅ Should the door open inward or outward?

According to the architect’s design, the living room door should open inward into the living room when viewed from the hallway. After that, the tiler also laid the tiles in the hallway, see the picture. On closer consideration, it might actually make more sense for this door—it’s supposed to be a glass door—to open outward toward the hallway. There is more space there. If the dining table in the living room were fully extended, the open door would be in the way. But wouldn’t it look odd if the area visible from the living room under the door frame is tiled? Vinyl flooring will be installed in the living room.

Removing and re-laying the two tiles should not be a big deal now.

I would make the door open into the hallway.

If the door is designed to open towards the wall, please consider the switches. They would then be located behind the door.

No, they are not. The switches are where the handle is. And the handle is on the left. Instead of the door opening into the room, it opens towards the hallway.
