Hello everyone,

What should we consider when choosing the installation location for the Buderus outdoor unit WLW-4 MB AR? We still have the option between mounting it on the facade or placing it on the ground. It is near the entrance, so the appearance is very important to us, but naturally also noise insulation and efficiency.

The supply pipe is already in place and protrudes from the ground.

We appreciate any tips!

If installed properly, it doesn't really matter much :-)

I would always prefer the "floor." You will "almost" always get some transmission into the building if it is attached to the facade. A proper installation definitely makes a big difference, but you will not be able to completely prevent noise or transmission.

This way, you get a nice concrete base outside that is not connected to the house. This should always help reduce vibrations.
