Hello everyone,

I am about to order the concrete ceiling, and a plan with the spotlights has been created. What do you think of the layout?

There are also supposed to be some in the upstairs bathroom. Do you think I should include them or skip it?

Thanks

Without information on output, beam angle, size, technology, and ceiling height, it’s not really possible to give useful advice. There are luminaires that can provide functional lighting as shown. However, for a cozy and pleasant evening atmosphere, ceiling lighting alone won’t be sufficient.

I’m only referring to ceiling lights; we will also be using floor lamps and so on. Or do you think I could plan something additional in the ceiling?

Is it common or sensible to use ceiling spotlights in bathrooms as well?

The clear room height is 2.6 m (8 ft 6 in).

I think ... there is way too much

Kitchen .. there should be a row in front of the tall cabinets
To the right of the kitchen plan ... why are there 8 units there?
Dining table ... why 4 units there instead of outlets for nice pendant lights?
Living room .. what are the middle 8 for? Since there are floor lamps near the seating areas, floor sockets or outlets for pendant lights would be better.

My wife films cooking videos, and according to the electrician, these should cast shadows when you stand underneath, which is not ideal.

In the corner will be my PC workstation.

Can those outlets be used for that purpose, or do they need to look different?

What if we keep the 8 and also use wall and floor lamps? I don’t think pendant lamps look very good in that area.
