Hello,

I’m starting a quick survey: what do you think about rolled turf? Is it a good alternative, or is it better to sow the lawn normally?

I’m curious to see which way the trend is heading.

Clearly...

Turf!!! We laid it in the garden and are really happy with it. Especially with children, it’s very practical....

Traditional seeding – Never again for me

I am also in favor of instant turf… What works well for a football stadium can’t be bad for a home garden…

The key argument for me is that I can walk on the lawn the very next day…

We sowed our lawn ourselves with great care and attention. The lawn has turned out beautifully... Whether a rolled turf could compare – I don’t know.

Well, I think sod has the advantage that it can be laid quickly and you immediately have some greenery. Growing grass from seed takes longer, and if you’re unlucky and don’t sow evenly, it will be patchy. So I would also go for sod.

Hi!

Every gardening enthusiast wants a lawn that is lush green and free of weeds and moss. However, this can often be quite difficult to achieve. Right after sowing, birds often pick away the seeds. This results in bare patches, and weeds start to take over. For many, this shatters the dream of the perfect English-style lawn.
But there is an alternative: buying ready-made or roll-out turf. This is a straightforward solution. The lawn can be laid immediately. It is pre-grown at turf farms, which benefits the consumer a lot. After installation, it can be walked on and used right away. Regarding the cost, it is about 3-5 euros per square meter (when picked up). Considering the advantages, it is definitely worth it. You save a lot of work and effort and have your lawn instantly without waiting a long time for it to grow.
