Friends! The mixer tap is only one year old, and while cleaning the faucet, I wanted to remove the aerator. It fell apart into its components. I went to IKEA, but they couldn’t find a replacement part. They told me I have to buy a new mixer tap! I estimate the value of the aerator at €1 and the mixer tap at €117. Can that be true??

Um, 1 year old? What was said about the warranty or the 10-year guarantee that Ikea provides on fittings?

Warranty is the key term here, as the guarantee conditions state:
This guarantee does not cover:
Aerators included in mixer taps.

I didn’t read carefully. If it’s just the aerator, you can get a replacement at the hardware store or plumbing supplier.
