Hello everyone,

We have two exterior doors leading into the garage and would like to open them keylessly so we don’t always have to carry the key while in the garden, etc. The garage has no access to the house, so security is important but not the main concern. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can achieve this as cost-effectively as possible? Are there any affordable keypad or fingerprint systems?

But the door must also be designed for the system, right? For example, you would need an electrical cable inside the door.

I just saw that Ekey is also releasing a new "retrofit system" with the ekey uno for about 350€ (euros). That could be quite interesting, as the other retrofit solution Ekey lock is extremely expensive.

Yes, Ekey is certainly an option as well, but I overlooked it because retrofitting it can be relatively expensive.

The lock you mentioned wouldn’t be a simple retrofit solution but would need to be planned for from the very beginning. This Ekey Uno would definitely be interesting compared to the others.
