Tx-25Hello, what can I do about the issue mentioned above?
When we lock the door, it pulls more tightly against the frame and the problem is almost completely resolved.
The door is 6 months old. Is it common for an exterior door to be adjustable so that it presses more firmly? I haven’t found any information about this yet.

Hello,
that depends on your front door and the hardware in the frame. In our case, you can adjust the position of the hardware by a few millimeters using eccentric cams, which allows you to press the door more firmly against the seals. However, this also means you will need to close it more firmly. Very easy closing and perfect sealing usually do not go hand in hand.
Best regards,
Andreas

At the very least, you will find a reference to the manufacturer there, who can replace guesswork with knowledge.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

Unfortunately, there is no manufacturer information on the door.
However, I found the hardware manufacturer. The door does not seem to allow for a noticeable increase in contact pressure. Adjustments can only be made on the fixed frame where the door lock engages with the frame. I have pushed this part outward as far as possible and reattached it securely, hoping that the door will press more firmly outward when unlocked and thus close more tightly. When the door is not locked, it only closes through the cylinder. At the top and bottom corners, I can pull the door about 1 cm (0.4 inches) away from the frame by hand if I apply force.
I made the same adjustments on the two strike plates where the locking bolts engage. So the door also presses a bit more firmly when locked. All adjustments are limited to a level where the door can still be locked smoothly.
