Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with Isarholz windows. I am currently interested in the INO-HA80 MM model.
Basically, the key specifications are very good. The Ug value, concealed fittings, flush surfaces on both inside and outside. Even the sound insulation rating of 34 is good.
I have mainly seen comparable versions from much higher-priced suppliers like Josko and Internorm.
Since there are significant price differences here, I am a bit uncertain whether the quality might be compromised.
Thanks for the help.

I wouldn’t be willing to pay the significantly higher price you mentioned for something I can neither clearly recognize nor understand, and would rather invest that money in other parts of the house. You’ll face this same question of “better” for almost every building component. I often read about people getting fixated on one issue and investing heavily there, only to run out of budget elsewhere.
In my first house build, I had pine wood windows from a local supplier and was very satisfied with them. Just recently, I drove by and saw they are still installed as before. For the next project, without our input, “some kind of” windows from Poland were installed, and again, there were no problems.
Now, for the new house, I couldn’t use my old supplier due to the distance, and our general contractor mentioned he had TOP conditions with another provider, which turned out to be true. So this time we got Veka windows with a stylish foil finish, mainly because the price was unbeatable. We like the windows, even though I probably would have preferred choosing from the shelf with the more premium brands. On the other hand, this allowed us to have funds left over for nice roller blinds, air conditioning, or other extras.
My approach or conclusion is that I would only choose the more expensive models if I could afford the same mindset throughout other areas, including furniture, carpets, and material choices inside the house. Because what’s the point of supposedly “better” windows if I don’t notice any difference in daily life but have to settle for cheaper options in many other places?
