ᐅ Is the Funk Rollladenmotor Tubular Motor from Rohrmotor24 Recommended?

I have a question about wireless roller shutter motors. Has anyone had experience with the motors from rohrmotor24?

Should the motor power be chosen exactly to match the window, or is it better to select a motor that is 1-2 sizes stronger? I read somewhere that it’s important to use the exact power, as the motor could potentially cause damage otherwise.

If I have, say, 10 roller shutter motors each with one wireless switch, can these be made smart home compatible later? Is there some kind of wireless receiver that connects everything to a network?

I also have a question about the motor width. Should I choose the motor width based on the width of the roller shutter box or the width of the actual roller shutter?

Which manufacturer are you referring to? They offer a variety of options.

Matching the motor size is definitely the better option. Otherwise, the motor could either damage the roller shutter curtain or pull the box out of its mounting (of course, this depends on how the box is constructed).

It depends on what you mean by smart home, which manufacturer’s motors you choose, how the rest of the setup is structured, what exact functions you want, and so on—the topic is as diverse as discussions about favorite colors.

For what reason do you want to buy them? To replace existing roller shutters due to age? Or is it because of the remote control feature?

I am currently having a new turnkey house built. The additional cost for roller shutters is a blended price of 350€ (approximately $375). Since we have 20 windows, that would be a significant extra expense. Therefore, I am having a power line installed now and will install the motors myself.

Then get motors that at least have obstacle detection and jam protection. Otherwise, the "basic" ones in automatic mode can also damage your shutters, etc.
