Hello,

I had no previous experience with showers.
Accordingly, the shower area, as shown in the picture, was prepared by a plumbing specialist company. The installation was not completed because the company clearly did poor work and was therefore dismissed.

This gap in the screed was originally meant to allow the shower to be installed nearly flush with the floor.

Now I have several problems.
How can I install the shower without causing major follow-up issues? How do I properly seal the entire setup, and how should I mount the shower tray? Using adjustable feet means I have no fixed attachment to the wall. Should I insulate and fill the hole? Or just insert Styrodur (extruded polystyrene foam)?

Maybe someone can advise on how this shower can still be salvaged.

The dimensions are about 80 x 80 cm (32 x 32 inches).
The depth is about 10 cm (4 inches).

An 80 x 80 cm (32 x 32 inches) shower tray is to be installed.

Best regards,
Sven
