I am curious about the actual width of the sink. On the IKEA page it says

Width: 74 cm (29 inches)
Washbasin width: 70 cm (28 inches)

How deep (opposite of width) is the actual washing area?
How shallow (depth) is the basin?

Can the sink be used without a vanity unit, or does it look unattractive, as is the case with, for example, Odensik?

The washbasin refers to the cabinet underneath, so the basin is 74cm (29 inches) wide.

I can only estimate the other dimensions. Depth of the basin is about 30cm (12 inches), height 11cm (4 inches).

It won’t work without a support frame. How else do you plan to attach it?

Thank you for the information.
I obviously meant base cabinet, not signature.
I was hoping it could be mounted on the wall. I am looking for an affordable 80cm (31.5 inches) wide sink of this type. And all the suitable ones start at a minimum of 150 euros.

A sink described as "this kind" is a rather vague description. Is it enough that it is rectangular with a certain width, or do factors like aspect ratio, height, etc., also matter?

It’s best to check out a few online sanitary ware stores that have a good search filter (for example, Emero, Reuter, or any other). You can then experiment with parameters like size and shape to see what is available on the market and what prices are being asked... the Laufen Pro series might fall within your budget.

Yes, you're right, that was a bit vague. But you understood correctly, I really like these square ones. Ideally, they should be 80cm (31.5 inches) wide, but yddingen with a width of 74cm (29 inches) also works.

I’ll take a look at the online stores you recommended. But I’ll have to ask a simple question at the end: Does yddingen not have any holes for wall mounting by default? Although you could probably manage with brackets and such...
