I have the following question:
In my kitchen design, a wall cabinet that is 37cm (15 inches) deep and 80cm (31.5 inches) wide with two doors, each 40cm (15.7 inches) wide, would be attached directly to a tall cabinet that is 60cm (24 inches) deep, without any filler strip in between.
The online planner warns that at least a 5cm (2 inches) filler strip should be installed between them.
If I actually install the wall cabinet without a filler strip next to the tall cabinet, would the wall cabinet door be able to open at least 90 degrees (fully opening up to the side panel of the tall cabinet), or would the door get stuck halfway?
The door handle of the wall cabinet should not cause any problems, since the door and handle would protrude further than the depth of the tall cabinet (37 and 40 > 60). A 90-degree opening angle would be sufficient for this cabinet.
Best regards,
