Hello everyone,

I am considering getting a Metod kitchen, which is already available in Scandinavia. I have seen that besides the Maximera system, there is also the Förvara drawer unit, which is much cheaper. Does anyone have experience with it? Does anyone know if Förvara is also made with Hettich or Blum hardware?

Yes, page 18 in the buying guide.

For the kitchen, they are really rubbish. We now only keep them where we store rarely used items. Once we have a proper kitchen, only Maximera will be used.

It is still included in this year’s catalog. Are there any updates on this?

As of April 1, 2017, it is supposed to be discontinued.

Hello, I find that the Förvara is much simpler.
Roller drawer slides, single-wall drawer boxes, no full-extension slides, no soft-close feature, no lateral adjustment of the front panel possible.

Why are you digging up a bunch of old posts and even copying content that’s already at the top? Boredom?

There is a very practical "ignore" function in the forum...
