Hello forum,
In my frustration, I ended up here and am hoping for your help.
Assembling the large Billy cabinet was a piece of cake, but now I’m stuck with the doors.
The Byom wooden doors are supposed to be installed at the bottom and the Byom display cabinet doors at the top. So far, so good.
But here’s the problem: the two sections overlap by about 0.5 cm (0.2 inches)!
For example, if I move the display door up by one hinge hole, the door would no longer align with the Billy cabinet but would stick out. Or if I move only the wooden doors down by one hinge hole, they also would no longer line up with the Billy cabinet.
No matter whether I adjust the top or bottom doors, the gap between them would then be about 2 cm (0.8 inches) too wide.
A bit complicated to describe... can anyone help me anyway?
I’m definitely grateful for any responses.
By the way: of course, I have tried adjusting the doors by loosening the screws, just as the instructions say.
Regards
Tatjana
