Hello,

I have a pool in my basement (currently not heated / covered with a pool cover) and I use a dehumidifier. It consumes 2 kWh (2 kWh) in 24 hours.

With the current temperatures here in the north, the window in the pool room is often open and the dehumidifier is turned off.

Why does the humidity not decrease when the windows are open and there is even a draft?

Today, the outdoor humidity is 30% and the humidity in the pool room has risen from 60% to 77%.

The temperatures inside and outside are the same.

Can anyone help me with this?

Good luck,

Because more moisture evaporates than can be ventilated out, even with a draft. The only solution is mechanical ventilation.

Also, the humidity in Hamburg has been around 90% for days now, just like here. Ventilation doesn't help in this situation.

In our bathroom, the humidity is also consistently around 65%.
