FrankChief24 Jun 2024 10:45Hello,
we need to raise our lawn slightly because our property has a gentle slope.
The lawn needs to be about 15cm (6 inches) higher than the patio so that the lawn is level and doesn’t slope toward the house. We will, of course, install a drainage channel at the patio edge to divert water away.
What can we use to create a height difference of about 15cm (6 inches) that also looks good visually?
Should we use edging stones for this?
L-shaped stones don’t look very attractive and are probably oversized for 15cm (6 inches).
Are there any nice edging stones available where the side surface also looks good?

FrankChief24 Jun 2024 11:28@filosof Can't this be done with edging stones? The height difference is only about 15cm (6 inches).
The thickness should be as minimal as possible at the edge, so the narrow edging stones would be perfect.

FrankChief24 Jun 2024 13:33The terrace has a slope of about 2.5% away from the house.
However, the garden currently also slopes toward the terrace, causing water to accumulate there during heavy rain.
For this reason, we want to raise the lawn slightly to restore a slope away from the terrace.
