ᐅ How on earth do you choose the right color combination for the exterior?

Good day again, fellow home builders!

We are currently having a hard time deciding on the colors (mainly for the exterior). It has been decided that our house will essentially rely on two base colors/materials:

1. Plaster (shade still to be determined, but lighter than the panels for point 2) for the house
2. Metal coating: panels used as cladding for the garage as well as accents on some parts of the house, including window frames, preferably in a fine-texture paint (probably by Tiger).

We especially need to decide soon on the window frame color (and therefore the panels as well). The finalists are DB703, Marone 02 Metallic, Iron Glimmer Effect P7, Grey Classic 02 Metallic. All TIGER Drylac.

The plaster color (the largest surface overall) should contrast with the window frames and panel areas and be lighter.

The following picture is an example of a successful combination. However, the panels are too olive-toned for our taste.

Do you have any tips on how to make such a decision? We are currently struggling a lot.

For the sake of completeness: inside, we want white-oiled oak parquet. This matters because the window frame color will need to work together with it.

P.S.: Do you know any companies in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) that manufacture and install such (aluminum?) panels as shown in the picture?

Thank you!

Whether you actually need a devil here is something I’d question – an Oettinger would probably suffice. Almost two years ago, we already discussed this kind of flush-mounted garage door here: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/flaechenbuendiges-Garagentor.24193/page-2#post-201863

Why are you talking about "paint"? I would speak of "coating" instead. We (aluminum window manufacturers) have also successfully used Tiger. Make sure to check color samples on the actual object, otherwise, especially if you agree with Loriot’s saying "wrong! Like the second one! That is quality," the disappointment can be significant when you see the result and it looks as if the manufacturer misread and produced a different variant than the last one selected. And definitely do not choose a color tone that on another material appears perfect – RAL is not Pantone, which many homeowners overlook. And under no circumstances would I ever choose an installation company that does not deal with the desired product every day.

These panels made of Alucobond, for example, are produced by 3A Composites GmbH.
As suggested by @11ant, definitely look for a company that installs this type of material on a daily basis. I hope you have budgeted properly for this project.
Would you like to share a bit more about the house?

And never use the same color shade on different surfaces. Different materials require different primers, and it will look different even with the same RAL or Pantone color.

Without a photo of the house and its surroundings, I cannot provide a color recommendation.
Our house has the base in plaster similar to RAL 7016 and the wall (from foundation to ground floor) similar to 7036. There are so many ways to get it right...

We looked at a thousand houses and then simply knocked on the door of our favorite one to ask the homeowners about the colors and other details... they were very friendly and shared the information with us.
