Hello,
we are planning to have a telephone line and a cable connection installed on our property. However, at the moment, we can only watch TV via cable; internet and phone services are not yet available. Therefore, paying 18€ per month for cable TV is too expensive for us. We also cannot watch TV over the internet yet, as the internet infrastructure in our area still needs to be expanded.
So, the question is whether we should use DVB-T to watch TV until services from the telecom provider or cable company become fully available.
Or do you have any other suggestions?
For wiring the house, we were thinking of installing Cat 7 cables throughout. Would you recommend installing any other types of cables as well?

Hello,
as an additional or interim solution, I would recommend DVB-S instead of DVB-T. The disadvantage of DVB-T is that you will never enjoy HD content! When installing Cat6 or Cat7 cables, keep in mind that for every network outlet with two ports, you should run two separate cables. 😉
