Dear all,

All transitions from wood to insulation and vapor barrier have been completed, and now I have a follow-up question.

Please take a look at the attached picture...

How should I best handle the transition here at the gable wall? At the very back in the corner of the gable, there is a rafter. I would like to attach the vapor barrier there using adhesive and tape.

The breather membrane, which I want to install on the gable wall over the gable bricks in front of the insulation (do I have to do this necessarily?), I would also end at the rafter.

Is this okay?

Thanks, and have a great weekend. Cheers

One more thing: is there anything I can use to coat or protect the beams that are visible inside the gable wall against moisture?

Thanks!
