Currently, I have two questions regarding our new IKEA kitchen. First, I wanted to find out if there is a compatible full-extension telescopic runner from AEG or Electrolux available for retrofitting the Framtid OV9 oven with steam function?
Has anyone retrofitted a telescopic full-extension runner for baking trays or similar and can provide an article or product number?
The second question concerns the Framtid HIN4S induction cooktop. Is it correct that the Framtid HIN4S induction cooktop is only inserted into the countertop and no longer secured underneath with screws or brackets?
Furthermore, we noticed the following during the first use:
Levels 1–6: all normal, just the fan humming.
Levels 7 and 8: a very loud, high-pitched whistle (really painful to the ears).
Level 9 and Boost: no whistling anymore, but an extremely loud buzzing and vibration of the cooktop.
Generally speaking, are these noises or vibrations normal? They are quite disturbing. We are using WMF cookware, which is definitely induction-compatible.
Does anyone else have this cooktop and similar or completely different experiences?
Many thanks in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Micha

Unfortunately, I can’t provide more details than to recommend contacting them directly. However, it does seem to exist!
Question 2: That’s correct, the cooktop is simply pressed into the countertop. There are clamps on the sides that hold it securely in place within the countertop.
Question 3: A slight whistling sound from an induction cooktop is quite normal. Some people are more sensitive to the high-frequency noise than others. Another possible cause COULD be the pots themselves. You might want to try a different brand (borrowed, for example), as some cookware can produce a more noticeable whistling than others.
