We plan pragmatically and practically. It should appeal to us and not be a showpiece for the Rotary Club friends.

Oops, I didn’t look closely enough. Mine looked different :-) I don’t understand the criticism regarding the layout since the nice rooms face south, but for now, I’ll hold back on sketching proposals under time pressure. It’s not very useful at this point anyway.

The guest room doesn’t necessarily have to be in the most attractive southwest corner, @Ibdk14 😉

It would make sense to have the kitchen more towards the terrace, for example.

@kbt09 Well, in my mind the lower guest room was my office and therefore got one of the best locations – just how I currently have it 😉 So it’s actually not a useful suggestion for the OP.
