Our house is now almost 30 years old, and we need to renovate the facade. Since we want to improve the insulation and no longer want a plastered facade, we have decided on a ventilated facade system. We looked at different options online and came across fiberglass facades.

According to the product information, they are said to be very resistant to aging and offer numerous advantages.

It is spring, and we want to renovate our facade this summer. Has anyone had experience with these facades?

Thank you for your reply, Hertweck.

The company has guaranteed UV resistance. The panels are solid-colored and additionally coated with a UV-resistant finish.

Hello,

Last year, I also installed a fiber cement facade. What I like about it is the slate texture, and the manufacturer guarantees that this type of facade has a long service life. At the moment, we are satisfied.

Let’s see how it looks in 10 years. 🙄

I am still convinced by this glass fiber facade. Now my neighbor had it installed as well. However, that was a different company, and they promised a warranty period of 20 years.

A 20-year warranty period is quite reasonable. This is why I have decided to have a fiberglass facade added next year. UIP AG is said to be quite good in this regard. I will request a quote from them soon.

I also need to have our facade replaced. That’s how I came across this type of fiberglass facade. The 20-year warranty is quite appealing to me as well. Now I’m looking for a suitable company.

Maybe someone here can give me a recommendation?
