ᐅ Door on FAKTUM IKEA wall cabinet does not stay open, installation aid

Hello everyone,

I bought three Faktum wall cabinets for the kitchen. The doors open upwards horizontally, but they do not stay open. What do I need to adjust on the hinges to keep the doors open and prevent them from immediately falling back down?

Hi,
do you still have the installation manual? It’s described there.
If you remove the white cover from the hinge, you will find a hole where you can adjust the door’s weight using a screwdriver.

I have the same problem. However, I have already set the weight to the maximum. What else can I do?
The door holds at the top on a wooden door, right?

On the website of blum (--> Aventos HK) there is also a video about it. If it is already properly adjusted to the maximum limit on both sides and the door does not stay closed, then a door lifter might be broken.

I just tried to force it and, lo and behold, it went further.

The screws were so tight, it was as if they had been glued.
