Today, I spoke with a colleague who had his garden landscaped by a professional gardener. Is this usually very expensive? Because I find it definitely looks much better than what an amateur could do.

Such a thing is definitely not cheap. I don’t like it either, as the individuality is completely lost and it will become a uniform garden, but if someone finds it appealing.

The gardener is not that expensive; the costly part is the materials used. It's similar to a painter, whose hourly wage is actually not that high.

I simply have no interest in doing my own garden; personally, it is not important to me to do it myself. I just want it to look neat, and then I am satisfied.

You don’t need to hire a professional for that, just buy some plants and so on, come up with a simple idea, and pay a student or someone who works cheaply to do it.

Thanks, I hadn’t thought of that yet. I could definitely do that, it would also save me some money. Maybe MyHammer could be useful too. Has anyone ever used MyHammer?
