Hello everyone,
in winter, we unfortunately notice that on the door frame at the hinge side of our front door, there is often condensation (not just in one spot but actually along almost the entire height of the door with some interruptions). Sometimes there is so much that it runs down inside the door frame when the door is closed, leaving a small wet spot on the stone in front of the door. Or there is a small puddle on the door threshold.
Is this normal with well-insulated doors nowadays? It is normal for condensation to form on the inside, for example at the bottom of a window. But here, could it be an air-tightness issue to the outside that allows moisture in the form of humid air to enter the door frame?
Thank you all, and greetings from BaWü 🙂

Warm air escapes there and causes condensation.
