Hello everyone,
which of you has a concrete staircase with a wooden floor covering or tiles?
We are currently wondering how to make the railing and the covering.
Stainless steel railing or a built-up masonry parapet.
Pictures would be great.

Does no one else have a concrete landing staircase in their house?

Not in my own house, but a photo provided by a colleague, Susanne Buchholz, real estate photographer (permission to publish granted by owner, photographer, and BU):

We also installed a concrete platform staircase in our home.
The treads are made of oak (white oiled), and the risers are made of white-coated wooden panels.
In the basement, the steps are made of granite.
The railing is a combination of stainless steel rods and oak.
Upstairs, we have temporarily installed a glass panel in front of the horizontal rods to prevent our child from getting any unsafe ideas.
