which of you has a concrete staircase with a wooden floor covering or tiles?
We are currently wondering how to make the railing and the covering.
Stainless steel railing or a built-up masonry parapet.
Pictures would be great.

Watcher7816 Oct 2015 18:22Hey, thanks, it looks good. Do you have any lead time? Could you share another picture from below, so we can see the landing and both handrails? Do you know how wide your stairs are?

nordanney16 Oct 2015 19:42Hi, I just took two more photos (there’s still a mess on the stairs due to vacation, overnight guests, and the fact that the new coat rack is not installed yet).
The staircase starts in the living area, so there is no coat rack or similar nearby. It runs from the ground floor (GF) through the first floor (FF) (see photo) up to the attic floor (there is also a landing there). The whole thing (all stainless steel) cost around €3,500 (approx. $3,800) – it was a bargain.
