These are mounted on metal studs approximately 6 cm (2.4 inches) away from the wall. Between the walls there is glass wool insulation.
Question: Do I need to install ventilation slots here? Basically, the wall is dry.

Sandraholster-119 Sep 2014 17:04Hey,
I would install ventilation slots, as they can’t do any harm. If moisture occurs even once, the effort to dry it out will be much less. Moisture is unpredictable, and if it gets damp, mold can also develop there.

Richard-126 Oct 2014 15:28I would also install ventilation slots here. I added them later on myself, and I believe it was worth it. My neighbor suddenly had a damp wall, and it took quite some time for everything to dry out again. Better to prevent the problem than to deal with the damage later.
