Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Besta shelving system from Ikea, but somehow the instruction manual got lost. I’m wondering if there are any assembly guides or maybe even videos available that would allow me to put together the Ikea BESTA without the original assembly instructions?

It’s important to me that these aids are as accurate as possible, since I don’t want to make any mistakes that could affect the stability or appearance of the furniture. Does anyone here have experience with this or know good sources or tips for a DIY assembly without the original manual?

In short: Yes, there are videos and guides online that work even without the original manual.

Tip: Build the frame first, then the back panel, followed by the doors or drawers.

Make sure the screws and dowels are placed in the correct positions.

I can definitely confirm that. Ikea Besta uses a fairly standardized system. If you follow the order frame - back panel - fronts, it works well.

That’s an important point. The drill holes are basically the construction plan on the wood.
