Hello,
please read the starter thread and provide more detailed information (not everything has to be mentioned) so that a constructive discussion can take place for you.
From the brief look so far, it already seems quite reasonable.
Regards, Yvonne

I actually really like it! Just one thing: where is the TV located in the living room?

A 2m (6 ft 7 in) line on the upper floor would also be helpful, as otherwise the shower under the sloped roof might not be very comfortable to use 😉 ... as mentioned, important measurements are missing.
Also, it’s usually a good idea not just to ask “what do you think of our floor plan,” but to also describe what you expect from a house, what is a must-have, what would be nice to have, and so on.

Also, it always makes sense not just to ask “what do you think of our floor plan,” but to describe a bit what you expect from a house, what are must-haves, what would be nice to have, etc.- The house is 12m x 9m (39 feet x 30 feet)
- Roof pitch: 30 degrees
- Knee wall height will be around 2.20m (7 feet 3 inches).
The layout of the bathroom and also the living room is not final yet. For example, we have a corner sofa, etc.
It was important for us to have all the main rooms like living/dining and kitchen together on the ground floor, plus a guest bathroom with a shower and a study/guest room.
Originally, we wanted a utility room of about 10sqm (108 sqft) just for laundry and such, but unfortunately the heating system (probably a ground source heat pump) will also have to fit in the utility room. I didn’t want to place the heating in the garage for several reasons. The main reason is that the hot water pipes would have to run further—what are your experiences and opinions on this?
For that reason, we already planned space for the washing machine and dryer under the stairs to make use of that space as well.
Regarding the bay window, we actually wanted a flat roof on it. However, some people discouraged us because the waterproofing is said to be less reliable over time. But after talking to a relative who is a roofer, he said it shouldn’t be a problem to make it watertight so that it lasts easily for the next 20 years.
We are also open to hearing other opinions here!
Thank you very much for your feedback and suggestions!
