Hello everyone,
We have just received two quotes for windows: one with the Gealan S9000 AD system and one with the Schüco Living 82.
What puzzles us is that the Gealan windows are significantly cheaper than the Schüco ones. As a layperson, I couldn’t find any major differences in the datasheets.
Are these two systems comparable, or are there significant differences between them that would justify the price difference?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Once with the system Gealan S9000 AD Is it still available with a rebate seal and not as a central seal (MD)?

Schüco Living 82 As a rebate seal (AS) or central seal (MD)?
Colored or white windows? What security levels? Which glass? Etc.
Basically, both are good windows. If otherwise identical, choose based on appearance (which I would hardly care about for windows) and price. One just says Schüco on it... (not worth the extra cost to me, since you don’t get better windows because of the brand).
And finally: Installation matters much more for windows than the profile. How do the quotes look there?

Does this really still exist with a stop seal and not as a central seal?
As AS (stop seal) or MD (central seal)?

And finally: installation is much more important for windows than the profile. What do the offers look like in that regard?I assume they still offer them with stop seals. If not, I would be happy to get the MD at the price of the AS 😉
The Schüco windows were also offered with AS.
Thanks for the objective assessment. I reviewed the offers again today with my energy consultant and, given the large price difference, I will go with the Gealan windows 🙂
