Hello forum,
does anyone have a good tip for exterior up & down lighting for a house wall?
It is important that the light reaches about 4m (13 feet) upwards. Downwards, 2m (6.5 feet) is sufficient. An adjustable beam angle would also be nice.
The fixture should be rectangular and in anthracite or graphite gray.
I have looked at some options online, but the light intensity and beam reach seem to be lacking.

Why should I illuminate it?I can easily think of several reasons:- The house is easier to find on a dark street
- I enjoy the appearance of the facade
- A specific detail should be highlighted
- The facade should be visually structured at night
- ....
@ mondbau: check out bega lighting, they should have suitable options in their range

I have looked at some online, but the light intensity of the beams seems weak. We have fixtures from Helestra – model name: Siri.
They are great and offer strong illumination depending on the size. We use them outside and inside in the stairwell.

Sorry, if I want to showcase my house, fine. Everyone to their own taste.
If I want functional lighting, I don’t think it makes much sense. I also wouldn’t want to bother my neighbors with light pollution.
But you’re right. I’m not really contributing much to the main question. If anything, just to consider whether such excessive lighting benefits me and, above all, everything around it.

Hello,
Because it looks good and provides a pleasant, indirect light.

Hi. I didn’t expect to start a discussion about the practicality of exterior lighting. We have a brick facade, and it’s quite common nowadays to include such visual features. Who buys a car for $80,000 and then puts 15-inch wheels on it? It still works, of course. Thanks a lot for the two recommendations for LED lighting.
